Day 72 - Varieties Are The Chilli Spice Of Life.


All the seeds that successfully germinated have now been re-potted with the exception of two barely developed seeds in the Serrano tray.

It has, therefore, been possible to do a quick check of all the varieties that have survived this far. They are as follows.

  • Tabasco (8 seedlings)
  • Ancho 101 (7 seedlings)
  • Early Jalapeno (8 seedlings)
  • Habanero Orange (5 seedlings)
  • Thai Bangkok Upright (6 seedlings) *1 died
  • Jalapeno (8 seedlings)
  • Scotch Bonnet (7 seedlings) *1 died
  • Rocoto Yellow (8 seedlings)
  • Hot Banana (7 seedlings)
  • Misc. (8 seedlings)
  • Cayenne Hot (2 seedlings)
  • Tepin (3 seedlings)
  • Anaheim (5 seedlings) *2 died
  • Prairie Fire (5 seedlings)
  • Cayenne Long Thin (2 seedlings)
  • Serrano (1 seedling)
  • Habanero Orange (5 seedlings) *1 died
  • Habanero Red (5 seedlings)
  • Purple Tiger (6 seedlings)

NB: I have absolutely no idea if the plants that I gave to my sister are still alive.She took one Anaheim and one Habanero Red.
